Ambassador of Germany presents credentials to the President

The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Felix Neumann, officially presented his Letter of Credence to His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu during a ceremony held this morning at the President’s Office.

Dr. Neumann was escorted from Republic Square to the President’s Office in a traditional Haiykolhu cultural procession, accompanied by the Maldives National Defence Force Drum and Trumpet Band.

President Dr. Muizzu received the Letter of Credence and extended a warm welcome to Dr. Neumann, formally recognizing him as the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Maldives.

Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Germany were first established on 5 July 1966.
